Brick count is by volume with mortar joints. For AAC blocks with thin-bed adhesive, set the joint to 3 mm and ignore the cement/sand.

Questions
How many bricks are there in 1 m³ of brickwork?
With conventional 230×115×75 mm bricks and a 10 mm joint, about 390 bricks per m³ (before wastage). Modular 190×90×90 bricks give about 500 per m³. The calculator shows the exact figure for the size you enter.
How much cement is needed for brickwork in 1:6?
For 1 m³ of 230 mm brickwork in 1:6 mortar, roughly 1.2–1.3 bags of cement and about 0.25 m³ of sand, depending on brick size and joint thickness. Enter your wall to get the exact quantity.
Why multiply mortar by 1.33?
Wet mortar is less in volume than the dry cement and sand that go into it (voids, bulking of sand, wastage). 1.33 is a common rule of thumb; some offices use 1.27 or 1.30 — you can change it under Assumptions.
What is a brass of sand?
In Maharashtra and many parts of India sand and aggregate are sold by the brass: 1 brass = 100 cubic feet ≈ 2.83 m³.
